How many of us really think that ‘what we wear’ reflects our personality? Does our clothing reflect our mood? And the answer to both the questions is YES. It reflects personality as well as mood. Certain occasions we attend,we take much care of the colours that we choose to wear. Like many people believe that wearing black in wedding is not considered good or we don’t prefer wearing bright colours when we are attending a death ceremony. These are a few things we are aware of and most of us are likely to follow them. But when we go deep into this we come to know how colours reflect us.

Like GREY clothing reflects ‘a balanced personality’, VIOLET colour reflects ‘royalty’ also LIGHT PURPLE is a colour of ‘femininity and romantic feeling’ whereas DARK PURPLE is ‘dull and gloomy’. This shows as we go deep, we find where and when such colours should be used and which all should be avoided.

When talking about the way we dress, it is very important that we dress according to an occasion. Clothes not only cover our body but it says what we are. When we see a person with ‘sloppy clothing’ we can easily say that the person doesn’t care about his/her looks or a person with ‘designer labels’ shows that the person is materialistic or it can even be taken as successful and choosy.

It is better to avoid colours which are depressing or clothes with some memories which you don’t want to recall. Like when depressed one must not go for certain dark and depressing colours rather choose bright colours and clothes that remind you of an accident you met when you wore it, should be dumped. Things that bring negativity are strictly NO.

Few tips which may help-

Clothes don’t need to be expensive to look good.

Wear something that makes you feel good.

Update your clothing regularly. Don’t worry about trends.

Have fun with clothes. Use your imagination and creativity.

Don’t get sticked with one type of clothing. Experiment with styles.
